Yes I'm on the 4th of July. Leave me be.

Who's kid is this?

Our favorite thing to do on the 4th of July is go to the Bees game in Salt Lake. There is something so American about baseball and fireworks. Maybe it's a Sand Lot thing. After the game they let you go sit down on the field and watch the fireworks. The grass is the softest grass you'll ever feel. I love it, no blanket necessary. They also play patriotic music while the fireworks go off . It is so magical and then the kids get to run the bases which they love.

Seth my nephew got to come and he caught a home run ball.

In the neighborhood 4th of July parade Moriella pulled Asher in the wagon. Datan rode his bike and took off before I could get a picture. He's pretty new at riding his bike and there were a ton of kids so he totally crashed. I don't know how he does it but Chris always has someplace to be when there is a neighborhood function. I am always trying to carry a baby, Chairs to sit in, my potluck contribution, baskets for the easter egg hunt or whatever, and not look like a complete idiot in front of all my neighbors (which is impossible, I always look like the village idiot.) When I complain to Chris about this he always says why don't you just stay home? Can any of you women explain why we have this need to go?
So I had a bawling son and I was trying to pull the other two in the wagon to catch up to Datan. It was really crazy. Datan doesn't do well with his own blood. It was very dramatic. But it was still fun. I love our country and any reason to celebrate it.

I remember the first time I met you at church, I thought, wow this gal has it all together. I still think that. I have always admired what a good mom you are. I sure think the world of you.
