Hurray for Hummus.
I just had a pita with Avacoda Cilantro Hummus and all the veggies. Sprouts, lettace, tom., and of course cucumber. It was so good. Hollar if you love Hummus.

Christmas 2008.
I love Christmas. Everything about it. From the lights on the houses, to the crowds at the store, the excitement on the kids faces and of course the traditions, family and a chance to think just a little bit more about our Savior. Our kids were really fun this Christmas and we enjoyed every minute. Merry Christmas everyone.
First Taste of Candy! Someone started crawling the week before Christmas and he got ahold of the kids ring pop they got. He was lovin' it.
This is Datan with his Human Anatomy book. He loves it. It might have been his favorite gift.

He love's me.
I don't know how you say love but for me, it was this new Washer and Dryer. Just kidding (don't leave me any comments about what love really is, I'm not really shallow, just excited.) I hate when my laundry room isn't clean. I do laundry once a week and I try to get it done and out of my room because I just love when it is clean. Even if the rest of my house is bombed and the laundry room's clean I feel okay. But if the laundry's backed up and filling up my laundry room I start to stress. In my old washer and dryer I was doing 12 loads. I couldn't get it done in one day. :( So when it broke and cost more to fix then to replace we went shopping. (That was three weeks before Thanksgiving.) Well a regular top loader was $440 but the cheapest front loader was $1000. I really wanted them but $2000 for the pair? Then one of the stores told us about Black Friday. We had to wait (which meant six weeks at the laundry mat @ $40 bucks a shot and three kids crawling all over the dirty floors of the laundry mat.) but we got the pair for $1000. So Merry Christmas to me. They are Bea-a-u-ti-ful. I can get the same amount of laundry done in about 7 loads. They purr rather than bang so loud we can't even hear the tv if they're running. And they have awesome settings like "towels" with extra rinses. I love them. I actually find myself watching them run. So thanks to Chris for getting me these awesome machine's for Christmas. I love them and if you're thinking about getting a set, wait for the Black Friday sell and save a bundle.

Snow day in St. George. 12/18/08
We got the most snow in St. George that I have ever personally seen. It was so fun. We made snow cones with kool-aid and built snow men. Or in Moriella's case a snow princess. This is her snowprincess.
Datan was too impatient to wait for me to finish convincing Moriella that wearing snowpants rather than a skirt in the snow would not turn her into a Prince. She was still a princess. So Datan went outside by himself and made this super cute tiny snowman, all by himself. It was a fun day.
This is Datan's reaction to opening the door and seeing all the snow.

Our Charlie Brown Tree. 12/6/08
Here's our Charlie Brown Tree. Every year we go up in the woods and cut down our Christmas tree. (Except last year...way to busy then.) It was always Chris' families tradition. But they went to a tree farm in Northern Cali. where all the trees are full and beautiful. Here in the landscape of southern Utah the trees are nature grown (no worker on hand grafting branches in the sparse places) and few and far between. So every year we have a sweet little charlie brown tree that we love.
Here's my babe, always has straps on hand just in case there might be something he can strap on the roof. Grunt, snort. Man-ly.
The kids up tree cutting.
My sister made this cute Rudolph hat for Datan. It's so cute and I think Asher sports it well.
