This is my amazing cousin Jana and her family. They lost their beautiful son a year ago. On the anniversary of his death they chose to organize a 5K run. What a great way to celebrate the life of Cooper. They thanked all the service people who helped on the day of his death and raised money for a scholarship to Cooper's preschool. There were two fire engines, paramedics, a seat belt crash test ride for the kids, face painting, fully catered breakfast burritos and fruit, muffins etc., doves flying at the starting line, Target sponsored gift bags for the kids, Oh and did I mention the Medivac Helicopter landing for all the kids to see. It was amazing and inspiring. May we all handle our adversery with such grace.
We love you Jana, Cooper, and family.
