Because my Camara sucks.

Well once again I am without a camera. Our new piece of hud is burning through batteries like no bodies business. I know that digital cameras will do that but this is different. When you put brand new batteries in the stupid thing says you need to change the batteries. I tried to just push past it and take a pictures anyway but after about three it shuts down until I am willing to throw away more money in the form of batteries and try and capture another moment.

At least the camera is under warranty all I have to do now is find the time to take it in with my three kids in tow.

So since I have no pictures to share I will just comment about my blog. I think it may be time for a new family picture. What do you think?

And where have all the bloggers gone. It seems like everyone has taken a post hiatus. Hopefully you are all well and just really busy and happy. Can't wait for your return to posting.

A Pretty, Pretty Princess and a sleepy boy.

Apparently he's not ready to give up naps yet. I hate this stage where, if you give them a nap they're up all night. But if you skip the nap they fall asleep at like 5pm. It's a total conundrum.

Our friend Wendy is the best with kids. She always plays with them. This day we played Pretty Pretty Princess with Moriella. You would of thought she had died and gone to heaven. She was grinning from ear to ear.

Moriella has recently fallen in love with building Legos. Datan hardly ever plays with them, although all his friends are into it. But Moriella has just been loving building things. This is her airplane.

Christmas 2009

This is Stratton Horace, my brother's new baby. Moriella got to feed him his bottle with my help while we were there. She was so happy. I think it made her happier than Christmas morning did. Isn't he cute. They think he looks like an old man but apparently old man looks good on him.

This is why we do it all. All the crazy shopping, all the late night wrappings, the money spent etc. all for this moment of awe.

Of course the nativity picture. Moriella didn't get to be Mary for the Reids so she was so excited to be Mary for the Fershtuts.

Most mornings in the quiet of the day you could find my Moriella in this chair playing with the baby Jesus and Mother Mary. One of my favorite quiet moments of the season, simply beautiful.

And of course the Charly Brown Tree we cut down every year. This one was nice and full but quite lop sided, but the pickings were slim this year.

Here is the Christmas Train at the live Nativity at Tuachan. If you ever get the chance to go it is amazing with live animals and an outdoor amphitheater.
