Every year since we moved to St. George we've gone to the Kite Festival. They encourage kids to read everyday for 3 mons. and then you get to choose a kite at the Festival for free. But anyone can go and bring their own kite and spend lots of money on greasy food and cheesy kids rides. So we have done just that for the past four years. But this was Datan's first year to actually be in school and earn his kite. He worked so hard and read so much. I was so proud of him. He really did earn it. This is him with his new kite. What kid doesn't like cotton candy? Asher it is pure indulgent straight sugar. I love that he's thinking about it, but NO.
Here is Asher with his "kite"...aka a streamer he found on the ground. He was so happy to just run around like this for hours.

So fun. Good Job Datan! Carson doesn't like cotton candy either. He won't even get near it. So funny.
