My Pop Pop and Aunt Ilene
First we spent a great couple of days with Chris' Mom at her family reunion. It was so fun getting to meet her wonderful family. Unfortunately we forgot the camera so it's not documented.
Then to Baltimore to visit my beautiful Aunt and my Pop Pop Leonard. I just sat next to my grandpa and put my hand on his knee and soaked him in. My awesome man took all three kids to the aquarium in downtown MD so I could spend the day with my Aunt and Grandpa. It was so special to have time with my Aunt. I have always felt close to her and admired her for her strength and beauty. It was such a special trip. Thanks to all who made it possible.
I love Asher's cheese.
This ceramic cat has been in my Grandpa's house since I was a kid and my parents told us we couldn't touch it. Now I'm the one telling my kids no. Memories.

Summer, summer, summer ti-ime.
Asher at the Firehouse. We took a tour and he only has eyes for... yep it's a ball. He found the guys basketball they play with on their down time and played with it the whole time we were there. Moriella did summer camp and made her tye-dyed shirt she is wearing and the sand art whale she is holding that you can barely see.
Datan at his Lemonade Stand. I bought limes and lemons to decorate my table this summer, well everyday Datan made me make Lemonade for him. And everyday he begged me to let him do a lemonade stand. So I finally gave in and we did it. He had so much fun and made $18. (I didn't make him pay me back the $8 for the lemons, $4 bottled water, $5 for cups, etc. That is a lesson for another day.) Thanks to all my neighbors who stopped and helped out my little boy.
Datan doing what all five year olds think is funny and letting the water shoot up his nether regions.
This is his preschool graduation picture. He is so excited to start kindergarten. I wish I had the option to send him last year. He would have done great.

Do you know what your husband's mid life crisis will be?
Do you know what your husband's mid-life crisis will be? 'Cause I know what mine will be. I'll find him at the local motorcycle shop picking out his new ride. We rented this bike for our Anniversary. We had such a fun time. We rode it up to Zion National Park. It was the perfect weather and the perfect day. We felt young, free and loved every minute of it. Thanks for a great day and nine wonderful years. I love you babe.

Asher's First Birthday. 5/14/09
We had an all ball party since that is his one true love. We had meatballs, and ice cream scoops of mashed potatoes, with peas. We had ice cream balls and gum balls. We played games with cotton balls and everyone of his presents were a ball of some sort. It was a fun day. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated his life with us.

Camping, Camping and S'more Camping
So we have done so much camping lately. I just combined them all into one post. I just love camping pictures of kids. Lost in their own world playing for days without a single toy.

This is my Asher trying to dance with all the big kids. He had only been walking for like two weeks. Enjoy.

Easter 2009
Celebrating his find of 2 easter eggs. (see previous post about his enthusiasm for the big and Small things.) If you look close you'll see that his zipper is down. I'm always telling him to zip it up but he says he likes it that way. Hopefully that will change soon.

The dying of the eggs. Always fun with small kids, (said with heavy sarcasm.)
I love Easter and the chance we have to ponder on the life of our Savior and His glorious resurrection. Happy Easter.
