So we have done so much camping lately. I just combined them all into one post. I just love camping pictures of kids. Lost in their own world playing for days without a single toy.

Asher and the Hampster Dance
This is my Asher trying to dance with all the big kids. He had only been walking for like two weeks. Enjoy.

Easter 2009
Celebrating his find of 2 easter eggs. (see previous post about his enthusiasm for the big and Small things.) If you look close you'll see that his zipper is down. I'm always telling him to zip it up but he says he likes it that way. Hopefully that will change soon.

The dying of the eggs. Always fun with small kids, (said with heavy sarcasm.)
I love Easter and the chance we have to ponder on the life of our Savior and His glorious resurrection. Happy Easter.

Moriella Turns 3!!! 4/5/09
Her Daddy made her this art easel with a chalkboard on one side and a dry-erase on the other, and a paper roll on top. All the kids love it especially Asher.

She had two cakes this year. The crown above and then she asked if I would make her a barbie cake like last year, so here it is again folks.

She won't wear pants, but she pulls them out of her closet and pretends they are her prince. So we had a make your own prince station. Then they got to dance at the ball with their Prince. Then we played kiss the frog (top picture) and turn him into a prince.

And then here is the real Moriella shining through.

Asher Steven
He wants to be just like Older brother and sister. He looks at them and then tries to do just what they are doing. It's so cute.

He's active and daring. He loves to be outside and his favorite thing are balls. He'll throw just about anything he can get his hands on.

He also loves to draw at such a young age. He finds markers, pens, or pencils and draws on paper, the chalk board or what ever he can find.

He is such a fun baby. We are so glad to have him in our family. Happy First Birthday Son. We sure love you.

Moriella Ann
My Moriella. She is the funniest girl. She has this quarky funny sense of humor that is actually really funny. She can always make us laugh and smile.

She is an independent woman. She loves to play by herself or read books and just do her own thing. At play group all the Mom's tell me she likes to play by herself. I say, "yep that's my girl."
She is my little Mama. She will take care of anyone and everyone. From her cousins, to her brothers (who don't appreciate her mothering.) To an adult who simply states that they are thirsty (5 min. later a sweet little girl comes walking up holding a glass of water...with ice.) She also loves to help Mom which I love.
Even though you can't tell here. She is our little princess. It is so fun and I love that she has gotten me to love the princess thing for the first time in my life. You're beautiful, Moriella.

She has a sweet shyness accompanied by a quiet confidence. I don't really know how to explain it but it's part of who she is.

Did I say she's independent. I told her not to put on her cousins new birthday skates. That didn't stop her she got them out of the package and put them on all by herself. Nothing's going to stop her in life. We love you Princess.

Datan William
The very best thing about my little man here is his enthusiasm for life. He gets excited about everything in life from the big to the small. We can always count on him to make the simple things fun.

I love his concentration here. He can sit and think and get lost in his own world forever. As he sits and thinks you can just see the gears turning in his smart little mind. I absolutely love teaching him, it's so fun.

Heavenly Father knew he was meant to be a big brother. He loves babies (this is my sister's baby Eliannah, isn't she cute). He is thoughtful and loving to both his siblings. I just know he was meant to be the eldest.
We sure love you son.

I LOVE turning 30!!! 1/21/09

I got home on Friday to my Babe standing in the driveway. Surprise he had arranged for my SIL to babysit for the weekend and we were going away for my 30th!! We had such a fun Drive up to Salt Lake. We were actually able to talk in the car. Amazing I know. Then we were supposed to have a fancy dinner all dressed up because I love to dress up and don't get to as a Mom very often. This would be the ideal birthday for my husband (and since most people give what they would want I thought that was the extent of my surprise.) Boy was I wrong!! When we got to the table so many friends and family were there. It was so fun. Both my sisters and their husbands, my in-laws had come from St. George, our good friends Jason and Wendy and Amy my friend since I was fourteen and her husband. It was so much fun with great food and friends. Thank you, so much, to all who came I LOVED IT. My babe thought of everything. Form getting a suite so everyone could come back and hang out after the dinner, to making sure my In-Laws were in the hotel across the street so we didn't accidentally run into them, to getting Troy to bring his laptop so we could Skype with my parents at the restaurant. He put so much time and effort into the planning and execution of it. This is so not something he would never want so I know it was a total labor of love. Thank you Babe you're the best.
There were so many more who had contemplated coming as well but were unable to. Thanks for thinking of me. My SIL Nancy took me to lunch a different day and I got so many calls and love and people sending their thought my way. I think I'll turn 30 every year!

Me and Amy.

Sisters.
